Introducing the UK’s first mountain karting experience! Here’s why it’s nothing like you’ve ever seen or done.

Attention all adrenaline junkies! Please stop what you’re doing and take a moment to process what we are about to tell you; we think you might like the sound of it…

Introducing ‘Quarry Karts’, the UKs only mountain karting experience. Wait, what? Karting on a mountain? CORRECT. At Zip World, which is located in Wales, you’re able to hop in a kart and fly down a 3km mountain track. But don’t be fooled, it’s not just that simple… On your way down you will encounter various obstacles which include tight turns and even some tires! Do not underestimate the difficulty that you may face in avoiding these as you’ll hit speeds of up to 40mph whilst on the course – which makes for a fantastic challenge.

Should you safely pass all the challenges the course faces you with the total duration will be around 15 minutes. But its not over just yet! You get to do it all over again as within the package of the Quarry Karts experience you get two runs. Meaning you’ll not just get chance to feel the thrill once again, but also chance fine tune your skills at driving down such a challenging course. Which might be needed as it’s guaranteed you will not have had the chance to do anything like this before.

For the experience you can expect to pay £39pp and there is some requirements before you’re able to take to the slopes. These can be found on the company’s website but the main one that needs highlighting you must be 10 years old to have a go – which is understandable.

For more information visit the company’s website which you can find at the bottom of this page. Let us know if you intend going in the comments!
