The Nomad cinema are promising to ‘rock you’ by going ‘all in’ with their Queen tribute on September 7th. Fan of the puns? Well don’t worry we have more. They promise by screening Bohemian Rhapsody (2018) in the open air location of Queens park, you’ll most certainly be ‘having a good time’ – and we agree!
What to expect
Doors open at 18:00 when you’ll get find a seat to get comfy on – which typically is a bean bag on an outdoor chair. Once settled, you’ve got the option of getting some food with Queens park café playing host to a BBQ, so let’s hope the weather is good! There’s plenty of time to dive into what they have on offer as the film doesn’t start till 19:45. Though we think this is a good idea as not only does it give you chance to have some food, but also allows the opportunity for some mingling with fellow film lovers or Queen fans. After all, the community aspect of the occasion is what Nomad Cinema are trying hard to promote. Highlighted as they are donating 100% of profits to charity!
As the film starts you can expect various strings of lighting to add a very unique vibe to the night, which soon can be mistaken for stars as night falls. If you haven’t seen Bohemian Rhapsody before then you are sure to be in for a treat. But if you have, well then you’ll be able to sing each verse word for word and show off your Queen super fan status. But if a little sing along isn’t enough to show the world your love for Freddie, then why not dress as him as fancy dress is encouraged.
Tickets to the event are £14pp. For more information or to book tickets, visit the following website.
